SERVETTO company was founded by Terragni family in 1972. The aim was to produce the wardrobe lift, Servetto, patented in 1968 by Ezio Terragni, the present owner and the main designer of the company.In 1989, the company developed the automatic production of the item Servetto. Today the production is based on 6 automatic systems for the following products: Servetto, Otto Innominato and Servetto Easy, Self System, Only, Servetto Super and Super Pro, Motion-V.
Thanks to its growing expansion, SERVETTO has become a leader company in the production of accessories for the wardrobe and for the walk-in-closet. The company collaborates with well-known designers in accordance with the furniture modern design. The range of accessories now includes also a new collection for the walk-in-closet: Wall System.
The company exhibited for the first time in 1972 (Sasmil - Milan) advertising the item Servetto with the slogan “A lift in your wardrobe”. The company immediately understood the big potential market of this new functional item and started investing on exhibitions all over the world (Germany, U.S.A., China, Hong Kong, Bahrain, Denmark, France, South America, Spain, Greece, Austria, Russia). Today, SERVETTO counts on distributors and retailers in 48 countries all over the world. For three times, SERVETTO was awarded the prize for technological innovation by the Chamber of Commerce and once recommended for the Italian prize “Compasso d’oro” in 1991.
On the occasion of the 40th anniversary of the patent Servetto, the company presented a new patented system of opening and closure applicable to different kind of doors, a perfect combination of esthetics and functionality. Motion-V is an innovative and versatile rototranslating mechanism that can be used in every room. It is available in the manual and in the electric version, this one with touch or remote control.

In 1999, the Swiss association SQS, member IQ NET, issues the company the certificate ISO 9001 thus stating that SERVETTO has an appropriate management system which meets the international standard for quality management.
